We're back and settled in from ATX, delicious BBQ, and the fierce competition that was Erg Rodeo. How'd we do? No belt buckles won this year, but we made some massive gains from last year!

Individual Medals:
2nd, Max Ronkos, Men's Open Lightweight Novice (7:11.8)
3rd, Ian Baker, Men's Open Lightweight Novice (7:17.7)
2nd, Michelle Wang, Women's Lightweight Novice (8:23.3)

Special note, team captain Sam Shadwell pulled a 6:51.7 (6th in the Men's Open) for the fastest 2k for the team in over 5 years.

Relay:
Our relay won by over minute, a 8,500m relay with 4 male rowers, 4 female rowers, and 1 coxswain, defeating two relay teams from Texas A&M and two relay teams from University of Texas. Relay members include: Jackson Schaap, Max Ronkos, Sam Shadwell, Ian Baker, Michelle Wang, Annie Nordhauser, Lindsey Schwartz, Gwen Johnson (of Austin Rowing Club), and coxswain Gus Chavez. One word: awesome.

The team's next big event is a collegiate scrimmage against Tulane and Vanderbilt (and potentially NSULA and LSU) on the 7th of March in New Orleans.
